Responding to Planning Applications

This short presentation reminds Parish Councils how they can make their responses to planning applications more effective. Help is already provided in the Parish Planning Pack which Parish Councils have been provided with and which can also be found on the Council's website. The presentation considers relevant and irrelevant matters and the importance of suggesting conditions in the event that planning permission is granted. It concludes by giving examples of good and poor practice and offers an opportunity for parish councils to suggest improvements to the the existing consultation process.
