Local Development Scheme (LDS)

Local Development Scheme 2009 - 2012 (subject to approval by GO-EAST)

What is the Local Development Scheme?

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the timetable the Council will follow in its preparation and adoption of planning policy documents over a three-year period. It is reviewed annually to keep it up to date, except when it needs to be updated more urgently.

LATEST NEWS

The Council agreed the Local Development Scheme (LDS) for 2009 - 2012 at the Planning and New Communities Joint Portfolio Holders' Meeting on 10 March 2009. The LDS has now been submitted to the Government Office for the East of England (GO-EAST) for approval.

Once approved by GO-EAST, the Local Development Scheme 2009 - 2012 will supersede the Local Development Scheme 2007 - 2010 (approved by GO-EAST in July 2007).
