Draft Final Sustainability Reports
The new plan making system requires that all LDF documents are assessed through a Sustainability Appraisal, to check how well they perform against sustainability objectives. European legislation also requires a Strategic Environmental Assessment. Each Pre-Submission Draft Development plan document was subjected to Sustainability Appraisal, which assessed how the policies perform against sustainability objectives. This has been carried out by independent consultants. These 'Draft Final Sustainability Reports' were subject to public participation alongside the plan documents. They are supported by Scoping Reports, that provide background information and a context for the appraisals.
