Development

Any additional structures i.e. play houses, tree houses, bouncy castles, marquees in your garden or field, conservatories, fences, sheds, building extensions, portacabins, installation of satellite dishes and aerials on properties in conservation areas.

  • Advertisements i.e. posters/placards in fields, on buildings or trailers, estate agents for sale/to-let boards.
  • Signage i.e. public houses, businesses; on pavements.
  • Lighting - outside lighting too bright;
  • Environmental Health - Storage of materials (could be hazardous, flammable, etc.)
  • Unauthorised travellers sites

Breach of Conditions 

Breach of planning conditions - conditions stated on decisions notices issued by Planning, breach of business hours/hours of operation, power operated machinery being used outside the specified conditions, taking off and landing rights re: aircraft and helicopters; number of authorised caravans per plot, landscaping conditions, submission of correct building materials i.e. roof tiles, bricks, etc., in keeping with the street scene.

Change of Use 

Material change of use i.e. change of business use from Care Centre to Gym (see Use Classes Order 2005), environmental health issues - unauthorised sites with burger van, fish and chip van, kebab van, etc operating.
