An appeal for a Wind Farm at Little Linton Farm, Linton has been received for the erection of 7 wind turbines and associated infrastructure. The appeal follows the non-determination of the planning application by this Council and will be decided by way of a public inquiry. The public Inquiry will also consider the refusal of a planning application for an additional wind turbine on the same site refused by Uttlesford District Council.

An Inspector has been appointed by the Secretary of State, under paragraph 1(i) of schedule 6 to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to determine this appeal.

Linton Wind Farm Public Inquiry was adjourned on Thursday 25 February 2010.

The Inquiry will resume on Monday 6 September 2010, at South Cambridgeshire District Councils offices in Cambourne, 11.00am, to hear the noise evidence and closing submissions and is currently to sit for a further 5 days.
