In this section we are looking at the targets and the policies that have been put into place at a national level to encourage individuals and businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and help combat climate change. We will then look at the role of local authorities in this process and focus in details on the actions South Cambridgeshire District Council in seeking to ensure that it is making a really positive impact.
