In order to promote public health and ensure safe potable water but not at the general expense of the Council Tax payer, to recover costs of sampling, transport, analysis and reporting

Not applicable - Private Water supply legislation will be updated Spring 2010 and new charging arrangements will be clarified by Government in guidance to the new Regulations during 2010
