Conservation area appraisals

The Conservation section within South Cambridgeshire District Council is undertaking a programme to review all 84 Conservation Areas designated within the District and to prepare individual appraisals for each Conservation Area. The programme is likely to take a number of years to complete, but commenced with those conservation areas most likely to be affected by Northstowe and is now moving on to cover the conservation areas within the 'Rural Growth Settlements' (as identified in the 2004 Local Plan). The programme will then move on to deal with those conservation areas in 'Group Villages' before concluding with the conservation areas in 'Infill Only Villages'.
