ANIMAL WELFARE
Services provided by South Cambridgeshire District Council, include:

- Animal licences

County Council animal welfare services
Trading Standards, who are based at the County Council, deal with matters relating to transferring livestock, cruelty to animals and animal disease control. They also advise on subjects such as the investigation of animals illegally entering the country and possibly introducing rabies, and the inspection of circuses under the Performing Animals Act.
