Open Day

Local residents were invited to find out more about how we work at our Open Day today.
We opened our doors as part of National Customer Service Week and welcomed residents in to help them understand what we provide for them and how they can make the most of our services. Whether they wanted to find out how Council committee meetings work, more about council housing, what benefits are available to them, to pick up community safety tips, ask about recycling or find out how planning decisions are made.
From 9.30am to 4.30pm our Open Day gave residents the opportunity to talk to council officers from a variety of services about how they can make the most of their council.
