Local Government Review - increase in councillors for Barrington

The Local Government & Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 - The South Cambridgeshire District Council (Re-organisation of Community Governance) Order 2010 relating to the Parish of Barrington

An Order was made under the above legislation on the 18th August 2010 whereby the number of parish councillors for the parish of Barrington will be increased to nine to take effect from the 5th May 2011 which is the date of the next Parish Council elections. This follows a request from the said parish following which all of the legal requirements in respect of the above Act have been complied with.

A copy of the Order may be inspected in the Legal Department at the Councils offices in Cambourne, during working hours.

Local Government Review - Changes to electoral arrangements for Whittlesford and Duxford

The Local Government & Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 - The South Cambridgeshire District Council (Re-organisation of Community Governance) Order 2010 relating to the Parishes of Whittlesford and Duxford

The South Cambridgeshire District Council made an Order on the 18th August 2010 whereby the parish boundary between the parishes of Whittlesford and Duxford was amended to transfer a part of Duxford parish into the parish of Whittlesford. This change will take effect from the 1st September 2010.

A copy of the Order and a map defining the change is available to view in the Legal Department at the Councils offices in Cambourne, during working hours.
