Local Strategic Partnership

The Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) was formed in April 2010, combining the former Cambridge Local Strategic Partnership with the South Cambridgeshire Local Strategic Partnership.

On 12 March 2012, due to recent national reforms and a local rationalisation of partnerships, it was agreed that the partnership would no longer need to meet in its current form . The role of the partnership is now covered by other local partnerships, such as the Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board, the Local Enterprise Partnership and the Children's Trust.

In future, an annual stakeholder conference of partners will be held to discuss and progress issues of common interest to partners across the City and South Cambridgeshire. The two local authorities have also agreed to meet with voluntary and community sector representatives on a quarterly basis to ensure close working.
