Orchard Park Liaison Group (Previously Orchard Park Action Group)

In response to concerns about where to address issues relating to Orchard Park and how to ensure they were resolved, South Cambridgeshire District Council set up an action Group at Orchard Park to address the issues and drive forward improvements. At its meeting in September 2009 the group decided to change its name to Orchard Park Liaison Group to reflect how the group had changed since its early creation.

The group is chaired by The New Communities Corporate Manager at South Cambs and involves representatives from SCDC, Orchard Park Community Council, Orchard Park Primary School, Gallagher's (The developers) and Local SCDC and County Councillors. Other partners are invited when items involving them are to be discussed at meetings.

The terms of reference were agreed at the first meeting and subsequently reviewed when the Community Council for Orchard Park became established in 2009.

To identify issues and monitor progress the group developed an issues log for the development. The log now forms part of the project plan for Orchard Park and is regularly updated by SCDC officers at monthly project team meetings. The top issues form the basis of the Liaison Group meetings.

The meetings are not open to the public but agendas and minutes are available below for anyone interested to access. If you have an item or issue to raise at please contact us (This link will open in a new window)or Orchard Park Community Council.
