Cambourne is South Cambridgeshire's newest and 102nd village settlement located 9 miles west of Cambridge.

It is divided into three village areas, Lower Cambourne, Great Cambourne and Upper Cambourne.

'Cambourne 950'

The application for the additional 950 dwellings in Upper Cambourne was considered at a specially arranged Planning Committee on 6th December 2010. The meeting determined that the officers be given the power to approve the application, subject to the resolution of a number of issues, and subject to the deletion of a proposed bus link. Lower Cambourne Terminal Pumping Station (TPS) and Drainage Issues

A substantial number of questions were received from Cambourne residents for the 22 April 2010 Council meeting. With the agreement of the questioners, five of the questions were asked at the meeting and written answers to all the questions have been published on the website.
