Sunday trading

South Cambridgeshire District Council registers all large shops (over 280m2) for a maximum of 6 hours trading on a Sunday, between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm.

If the Sunday is an Easter or Christmas Day, these shops are not permitted to open. The hours of trading will be displayed on a notice inside and outside the shop.

All shops less than 280m2, there is no need to register with us or keep to certain opening times.
