Council policy when setting the fee/charge:
To recover approximate costs of inspection Officer's time with administrative on-costs + the total costs of any veterinary surgeon that is asked to inspect those premises, but changes do not deter members of the public from being open about their ownership of such animals. New fees prescribed by statute will be introduced during 2009/10.
