The Cambridge Cluster

50 years on - what is the future for the Cambridge economy?

A successful future for Greater Cambridge is vital to the success of the wider regional and national economies.

As a key economic driver for both the East of England and the wider UK, it is essential that the Greater Cambridge economy continues to be successful and that the area is able to recover quickly from the impacts of the recession and to be ahead of the competition in order to secure new investment.

South Cambridgeshire District Council and partners have commissioned a study to consider the future for the Cambridge Cluster and the wider Greater Cambridge economy in 'The Cambridge Cluster 50 years on - what is the future for the Cambridge economy?'.

The study seeks to better understand the current state of the Greater Cambridge economy, explore the challenges and issues that are being faced and identify the scope of the sub-region's economic potential. The results will inform an action plan to secure the future economic success of the area.

As part of the study, we are asking businesses, residents and stakeholders in Greater Cambridge to give us your views on the future of the area by completing a short questionnaire (This link will open in a new window).
