Sports Co-ordinator Contract

The contract is to deliver two key sports development projects on behalf of SCDC. The contract is for a minimum period of 3 years, subject to annually approved budgets. The contract may be extended by mutual consent and the projects are subject to two monthly monitor and review meetings and an annual review of performance and agreement on the work plan for the following year.

Council priorities for 2010 include delivery of the free swimming programme, elite athlete grants, developing opportunities linked to 2012 and increasing adult participation in sport.

This contract will help deliver both these actions for the Council through two Sports Development Projects, which may change over time:

- Increasing Adult Participation in Sport
- The Street Football Project
